The effect of creating a single EAEU labor market on the level of financial well-being of migrant households (exemplified by the Republic of Armenia)

The article analyzes the effect of creating a single EAEU labor market on financial well-being households in countries that mainly send migrants, exemplified by Republic Armenia. Based data Integrated Living Conditions Survey (ILCS) 2012-2017 and using difference-in-differences method, study has identified significant causal relationship between country’s accession to reduced income gap with migrants Russia other regions or without at all. Thus, after Armenia’s EAEU, sending became 6-11% higher than one countries, despite fact until 2015 there was hardly any difference income; decreased from 6% 2012-2014 2% 2015-2016. confirmed positive impact makes it possible consider tool for reducing poverty Armenia as well recommend continue development harmonization migration policy EAUE member states.
